AI Creative Fund will bring AI to Banijay productions
All production companies in the 21 territories in which it operates Banijay They will be able to benefit from the advantages of AI (Artificial Intelligence) for their projects with the new AI Creative Fund.
This new project, which joins other “creative” initiatives of the group, aims to encourage people and teams to create formats that expand the limits of creativity using artificial intelligence and technology.
Specifically, the new AI Creative Fund will be used under two objectives: develop new ideas using technology, and explore the “infinite possibilities” of artificial intelligence applied to content creation. The best ideas arising from the collaboration between AI tools and Banijay talent will receive funding for their development through the Banijay Creative Fund.
This new AI initiative is a group-level investment that complements the Banijay Creative Fund, which to date has already supported the evolution of original formats such as Blow Up (Endemol Shine Nederland), Love Triangle (Endemol Shine Australia), The 50 (Banijay Productions France), Save the Date (Endemol Shine Finland y Endemol Shine Israel) o Starstruck (Remarkable), among others.
James Townley, director of content and development at Banijay, values the initiative: "We are passionate about innovation, and this AI Creative Fund will allow our producers to create new formats that incorporate technology, either as a central element of the program or by redefining the production process. We are in a new era of technology and innovation, and although human creativity will always prevail, it is important to work together with the tools available to contribute to the future of innovative entertainment."
