Swit will debut new developments in batteries, monitors and lighting controls at IBC 2018

The PB-H290S battery designed for Alexa LF/65/SXT cameras, the CM-S73H 7” monitor with 2500 nits of brightness; and the LA-WR8 wireless lighting DMX control, among the new features that will debut in Amsterdam.

Swit.es will go to IBC 2018 in Amsterdam, from September 13 to 18, to show the latest news from the Chinese manufacturer's new catalog at stand 12-C61.

In a new demonstration of innovation, thinking about the needs of current audiovisual production, it presents new developments in its usual product ranges, destined to be benchmarks in their class.

Highlights the new model of PB-H290S battery designed for cameras Alexa LF/65/SXT, which has the particularity of being able to work in two different voltages (14.4V and 28.8V) that switch automatically according to the needs of the camera. Its high capacity of 290Wh, together with the flexibility of using a single battery model on a film set that combines several different cameras, are its most notable features, without forgetting the manufacturing quality to which the manufacturer has accustomed us.

New monitors

Another development of great interest is the monitor CM-S73H. With its 7” 1920×1080 it offers nothing less than 2500 nits of brightness which makes it an option to take into account when recording outdoors in full sunlight. Includes logging 3DLUTs on camera and the possibility for the user to install 3DLUTs from a USB memory.

It also has 4K (HDMI 2.0), 2K, 3G, HD and SD-SDI inputs with output loop, embedded VU meters for 16 channels and other advanced adjustment and control advantages that can make it a benchmark for filming monitoring.

In its range of lighting equipment for audiovisual production, Swit presents the LA-WR8 wireless DMX control which allows the control of 8 channels and 7 groups. This portable pocket controller is compatible with any DMX device at distances up to one hundred meters. Therefore, it is an excellent solution for small lighting sets due to its simplicity, versatility and effectiveness.
