DDB launches the second part of the 'A shorter letter' campaign with the main spot, an animated short film that invites you to reflect on new consumer trends.

 A shorter letter

Under the motto A shorter letter, DDB Spain opens a debate in the new Audi campaign, to raise awareness in our society about the need to consume in a more rational way; especially in a time of excess like Christmas. To do this, the advertising agency has created an animated short film and a digital tool that seek to make us reflect on what we really need.

The new animated short film, with which DDB reveals the end of Audi's Christmas campaign, narrates the anger of a child for whom Santa Claus has not brought the blue car he had requested, despite having received many other gifts.

A shorter letterThe piece, which is available on social networks and on Audi's YouTube channel, tells a magical story that reminds us that sometimes “having what you need is having everything,” thus raising children's awareness about the value of things.

The first initiative of the campaign was www.unacartamascorta.es , a technological-educational tool that offers parents the possibility of creating a letter to Santa Claus and the Three Wise Men. The platform is free to access and allows you to enter up to four gifts, which must be useful and encourage emotional and creative development, as recommended by educators and psychologists. The child's letter can be shared among family members through a web link by email or WhatsApp so that the gifts that each person wants to ask for from the Three Wise Men or Santa Claus are distributed.

José María Roca de Viñals has been in charge of the creative direction of the campaign together with Jaume Badia, Guille Ramírez and Àlex Ademà.
The Frank Barton Company has been in charge of production, counting on The Lobby (sound) and Nice Mondays (digital developer). Alberto Botella He has been in charge of the 2D animation.
