Starting this week, the Archivo 80-90 RTVE channel will be available on YouTube, where the user will be able to see each week a new chapter in HD of significant audiovisual works in the history of public television.

RTVE takes another step this summer in the dissemination of its Historical Archive with the launch of a specific channel in YouTube, in which it will post some of its most emblematic series and programs from the 80s and 90s with the aim of discovering these products to the youngest and provoking nostalgia among the not so young.

Starting this week, the Archivo 80-90 RTVE channel will be available on the video giant, where the user will be able to see each week a new episode in HD of audiovisual works as significant as the series gold rings, The making of a rebel, y The joys and the shadows, or the program Hello Raffaela, among others.

The Google platform channel will upload content three days a week, specifically Monday, Wednesday and Friday, offering the user a unique experience and allowing all audiences to relive the best years of television.

The channel begins its journey with a well-deserved premiere: a marathon of the series Summer Blue. YouTube together with RTVE make us meet again with the teenagers Quique, Javi, Pancho, Bea, Desi, Tito and Piraña. This marathon coincides with the recent discovery of the casting of the young actors by the RTVE Archive team, which became viral on social networks.

All the series and programs published on the Archivo YouTube channel are also available on rtve.es/archivo, where for years the Corporation's website has periodically posted the jewels of the Historical Archive, also echoing it on its own social networks on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The creation of the RTVE Archive channel also means delving into the Corporation's strategy for disseminating its own content on YouTube. Added to the RTVE corporate channel (which already has more than 700,000 subscribers) are the verticals RTVE Series, RTVE Cocina and RTVE Humor, as well as RTVE's youth channel, Playz, which has recently surpassed 120,000 subscribers.

In addition, successful RTVE programs have made YouTube a platform to expand their audience with notable success, highlighting the case of the Operación Triunfo channel, which already has close to a million subscribers.
