Videe debuts an elegant 4K HDR mobile unit at IBC
The new Videe OBX 4K mobile unit offers new, fast and efficient operability, as well as the implementation of a truly innovative production approach on an international scale.
Videos is debuting in this IBC 2019 since it will be the launch of your new mobile unit 4K HDR. The unit, which can be seen these days at the integrator's stand Chromaline (0.C02) on the RAI Center esplanade has been designed with the latest technology for native production in 4K HFR y UHFR.
The new unit Video OBX 4K simplifies and makes live workflow more efficient. Ensures high quality and efficiency in all conditions, in both SDR and HDR, using the HLG, HLG_Live and S-Log3 Wide Range formats, keeping current operations unchanged.
The implemented workflow allows you to share multi-format files in real time, record in continuous and multi-codec mode, with a Grade 1 quality monitor, and use the zoom and live input/output functions.
For recording broadcasts, the unit has around thirty Sony cameras HDC-4300, with native 4K sensor and great colorimetry (BT.2020). Plus, it hits all HDR curves. You can also operate with cameras HDC-4800 Sony HFR with Super 35mm sensor that, thanks to its global shutter, creates a cinematic effect and offers extreme performance for high-frequency capture with full resolution up to 8x in 4K and UHD and up to 16x in HD.
A very versatile UM
The mobile offers a completely personalized workspace. It has two independent production areas and perfectly interconnected: a main one for satellite broadcasting services and a secondary one for unilateral production services. For high-level events, the new Videe OBX 4K allows you to work in a single space, completely at the client's disposal. Furthermore, it has been designed with automation management by the solution Hi of Broadcast Solutions, indirect RGB LED lighting system and customizable air conditioning.
In addition to the HDC-4300 and 4800 cameras, the unit is equipped with several wireless cameras 3500 (with links Vislink HCAM 4K), with a Sony PWS-4500 server and an XVS 8000 mixer with up to 160 inputs and 40 configurable outputs. As for intercom, it is equipped with the advanced system bolero Riedel. In audio, the console stands out Artemis Calrec 64 faders. All signal routing is managed from a matrix Platinum IP3 of Imagine.
With this powerful configuration, the new Videe OBX is emerging as the ideal partner to provide Host Broadcasting services for large live sports and entertainment events.
