The new functionality allows you to navigate with a unique experience, just by pressing a button and saying with your voice what the customer wants to do.

I send Vodafone TV

Vodafone Spain Starting today, it incorporates voice control into its television service through its new remote control.

This new functionality offers a much simpler, faster and more comfortable experience, by allowing you to control Vodafone TV by holding down the microphone button on the remote control. The voice function allows, exclusively, to carry out personalized searches with several criteria at the same time (by actors, directors, phrases...) and full control of the video (being able to go forward and back in exact amounts of time or go to a specific moment in the content). You can also consult channel programming directly from the remote control, launch applications and navigate through the menus of the Vodafone TV platform.

It will make it easier to search for content without having to enter letter by letter, launch all the applications integrated into the service, navigate through all the menus, consult the channel programming or perform advanced searches with several criteria to find exactly the desired content.

It will also allow full control of the video by advancing or rewinding exact amounts of time.

The new remote has connection Bluetooth Low Energy so you don't have to point it at the decoder. In addition, it can be configured as a universal remote control, to unify all the functions of the television.

Ignacio García-Legaz, director of Vodafone TV, states that "searches through voice have increased considerably in recent years, especially in the young sector, and are going to transform the interaction with all our devices. Adding this functionality to our television platform will allow us to browse the largest catalog of movies and series in the world with a unique user experience."
