Benjamin Desbois, new sales director at Telestream

Desbois previously worked for Avid Technology, where he led the company's sales organization in the Americas, after four years managing sales in Europe.

Telestream has incorporated into its management team Benjamin Desbois who will occupy the senior vice president and sales direction.

He will bring almost two decades of sales experience in the media sector, service providers, enterprises and government clients in software, hardware and SaaS solutions. It has driven an integrated sales model that combines systems integrators, value-added resellers and direct sales to achieve consistent growth globally.

Previously, Benjamin Desbois worked for Avid Technology, where he led the company's sales organization in America, after four years in sales management in Europe. Prior to working at Avid, he spent eleven years in sales leadership and product management roles at The valley, including director of global business development and general manager of the US business unit.

Dan Castles, CEO of Telestream, believes that this high-level appointment contributes significantly to the company's expansion strategy: "we are offering new business models, expanding our relevance in the direct and distribution markets, meeting the unique needs of OTT Video and integrating the capabilities of Tektronix Video. In addition to English, Benjamin Desbois is fluent in French, Spanish and Portuguese. He graduated from L'Ecole Des Mines De Paris. He lives in Massachusetts and will operate from Telestream's headquarters in Westwood.
