atoms continues to celebrate its 10th anniversary by launching a special offer on its popular monitor-recorder Shogun 7. From now on, customers who purchase a Shogun 7 can choose between two options at no additional cost: a five-inch HDR monitor Shinobi SDI or one unit AngelBird SSD de 500 GB and an Atomos sunhood pack.

Jeromy Young, CEO and founder of Atomos, said: "The evolution of Atomos monitor-recorders since they were first launched in 2010 has exceeded all of our wildest expectations, from the impressive display specification that our developers have achieved for our latest models, such as the Shogun 7, to the enthusiasm with which so many corners of the video production industry have embraced the creative opportunities that ProRes RAW recording offers. I am immensely proud of what we have seen. “Our engineers and developers have created and are even more excited about what the next 10 years could bring.”

With a relationship of 1,000,000:1 screen contrast, more than 15 stop actual range on screen, a 360-zone backlit display, until 3,000 nits of brightness and a wide DCI-P3 color gamut, the accuracy of what you see on the pantalla HDR Shogun 7's seven-inch screen is astonishingly lifelike. Add to this the ability to record in 4K and beyond, in multiple codecs, including Apple ProRes RAW, and live switching between four camera sources and you'll see how this multitasking monitor gives production teams incredible creative control.
