COVID-19 forces the delivery of the Feroz Awards to be delayed

The award ceremony will be held, as planned, at the Teatro Auditorio Ciudad de Alcobendas on March 2, presented by Pilar Castro and broadcast live on YouTube.

Los Feroz 2021 will be celebrated on March 2, three weeks later than initially planned, given the entry into force of the new restrictions dictated by the Community of Madrid as a result of the increase in the incidence rates of the COVID-19 pandemic. As planned, the ceremony will be held at the Teatro Auditorio Ciudad de Alcobendas, the city that is the main sponsor of the event, and will be presented by Pilar Castro and will be broadcast live on YouTube.

During the ceremony, the Feroz Honor Award will be presented to Victoria April and the rest of the statuettes. In the series sections, Patria It is the one that accumulates the greatest number of nominations, with 7: best drama series and 6 more nominations in the acting sections, both lead and supporting. They follow closely 30 coins, by Alex de la Iglesia, and Anti-disturbances, by Rodrigo Sorogoyen and Isabel Peña, with six nominations each, including best drama series. In the film categories, the film Rosa's wedding dominates the competition with nine nominations, including best comedy film. They also highlight The girls y Akelarre, both with 6 nominations.

As already announced, the script for the gala is written by Isabel Calderón and Lucía Lijtmaer, authors of the cultural program Weekly Deformed, which has had a life both in theater (broadcast by the newspaper Público) and on radio (Radio Primavera).

The artistic team of the Feroz 2021 gala is completed with the direction of Raúl Díaz, Álvaro Velasco - who already directed the 2019 and 2020 ceremonies, in which they also served as scriptwriters - and Iñaki San Román.
