Dejero Francois Vaillant

The former executive director of engineering solutions at CBC (Canada Broadcasting Corporation) joins Dejero as senior technical product manager.

After leading CBC’s IP transformation, which began in 2017, Vaillant was responsible for unifying and standardizing the Canadian broadcaster’s technical architecture. He has extensive industry experience of more than 25 years and currently also serves as a member of the Board of Governors of SMPTE, NABA (North American Broadcasting Association) and EBU (European Broadcasting Union).

In his new role, Vaillant will support Dejero’s product management team, develop strategies that leverage evolving technology for the future and help shape the company’s roadmap, which includes developing next-generation mobile transmitters and cloud solutions.

“Tremendous asset”

Francois Vaillant is “very pleased” to be joining the team of “one of the industry’s most disruptive market leaders.” “The company is at the forefront of the virtualized, cloud-based technology movement and has developed some incredibly versatile platforms that can be diversified across different markets. It’s an exciting place to be,” he declares.

Yvonne Monterroso, director of product management at Dejero, values the addition of Vaillant this way, “To have an industry innovator of Francois’ calibre on our team is a tremendous asset as we develop new solutions that set broadcasters up for success now, and in the future.”
