AJA gives the keys to Bridge NDI 3G, its latest NDI/SDI converter

NDI 3G Bridge, 1RU device that allows conversion between SDI and the NDI protocol over IP. NewTek (Vizrt Group), is the latest development of AJA.

He Bridge NDI 3G has two NICs of 10GigE integrated for NDI I/O, as well as connections SDI high density for up to 16 3G-SDI I/O channels, offering up to four 4K channels o 16 HD channels, or a NDI HD and 4K encoding/decoding mix. The device has an “intuitive” interface and a system administration screen that facilitate its start-up, operation and configuration. The system, controllable through a web browser, allows the remote process management, allowing technicians, engineers, operators and producers to view and manage content.

AJA's latest solution, among other applications, has been designed to convert SDI camera sources and playout to NDI streams, allowing easy integration into NDI-compatible workflows, including virtualized productions that take advantage of NDI-based switches. Using a common network, these sources can be located anywhere within a facility. Conversely, NDI streams can be converted back into SDI ecosystems through Bridge NDI 3G's configurable I/O, allowing NDI signals to return to SDI routing systems and traditional baseband workflows.
