Alfalite brings together professionals from the world of broadcast and cinema around the new VP XR solution
The factory of Alfalite in Rociana del Condado (Huelva) has hosted the showcase of a complete virtual production ecosystem starring the VP XR solution.
70 professionals from the broadcast and film industries visited the Alfalite facilities, where they were able to see a demo of the Alfalite system VP XR. The new proposal from the Spanish firm consists of a curved wall screen (10×4 meters) and ceiling (6×4 meters) with Alfalite panels ModularPix Pro P1 ORIM VP 1,900 nits and 175° horizontal and vertical viewing angle; and a stack and truss structure designed by Alfalite created ad hoc for its panels. Tangram Solutions was responsible for providing the complete virtual production workflow, made up of a series of solutions from firms such as Mon-Sys, Fujifilm, Canon o Sony.
Tangram adapted the set for each of the two days. The first day, dedicated to the broadcast field, the Alfalite setup was adapted to perform augmented reality and extension set with a selection of broadcast cameras. For the second day, dedicated to fiction and cinema, there was several specific equipment provided by WeLab and everything was calibrated to carry out virtual production and extension set based on the Sony Venice and a selection of optics full frame by Cooke. All this, taking a props of the 80s with recreational machines as protagonists.
Other companies that collaborated in this display, which can be replicated in future showcases with new themes in the future, are Unreal Engine, Antipodes Film Lab, Xsens y HP.
