Aviwest and LucidLink Introduce Unified Cloud Production and Contribution Solution
Relay backpacks Aviwest y LucidLink Filespaces feature a cloud video production and delivery solution defined as “easy to use.”
With the new proposal of Aviwest y LucidLink, television networks can capture images from cameras, deliver data to the cloud y get global access to the same file, con real time collaboration “from anywhere.” The solution includes field units of Aviwest, as well as series transmitters AIR and from the series PRO, allowing video professionals to stream live video over linked IP networks, including 5G, 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Ethernet y satélite, wherever the action is. Thanks to the progressive recording and forwarding function, broadcasters can record video broadcasts to the transmitter's SD card and optimize their time by progressively forwarding the file while recording is still in progress.
At the same time, a client of LucidLink installed in Aviwest StreamHub permite access the filesos in real time from multiple camerass. Files are immediately available for editing during ingestion. LucidLink provides a centralized, “secure” data repository in the cloud that is “infinitely scalable and globally accessible.” Users get instant access to a file simply by connecting to Filespaces and they can edit the files using any NLE application directly from the cloud. LucidLink makes it possible to access data even as it grows, at cloud scale.
Scott Miller, director of business development at LucidLink, emphasizes that this partnership “enables powerful new remote workflows in the industry.” For its part, Ronan Poullaouec, CTO of Aviwest, wanted to highlight that “this joint solution drastically accelerates content production and allows remote production with solutions hosted in the cloud.”
