Aviwest (Haivision) will show a new StreamHub and its latest 5G solutions at NAB 2022
From booth W5202 NAB 2022, Aviwest (recently acquired by Haivision) will showcase its latest 4G/5G contribution solutions and a new StreamHub model.
The great news of Aviwest to NAB 2022 It will be a new model in the series StreamHub, which comes with a completely redesigned interface and improvements at all levels. Deployable as a 1UR server or as a cloud service, this solution seeks to provide simplicity, flexibility and efficiency to production or television companies.
Another of the key products that will be at stand W5202 will be the PRO460, a transmitter 4K/UHD 5G/4G which has already been used professionally in the recent world sporting event held in Beijing. Compatible with 4K UHD and with flows of multi-camera work, supports up to four high resolution fonts fully synchronized, which “delivers exceptional video quality and high performance.” Aviwest's PRO460, which is capable of giving high definition video return (up to 1080p50/60), too supports full-duplex intercoms to optimize communication between field teams and studio operators, as well as a data bridge for remote camera control, counting light management, or controlling any IP-connected device during a live event.
By hosting six 5G modems and have patented high-efficiency custom antennas to ensure high-speed transmission, the PRO460 seeks to offer “robust and error-free” transmission over any network (i.e., cellular, satellite, IP leased line, or public Internet). Aviwest encrypts end-to-end latency in just 0.5 seconds, something that is achieved thanks to technology SST.
RACK400 4K/UHD y Multi HD
NAB 2022 will also feature the appearance of the new 4K/UHD video encoder RACK400, designed to “guarantee maximum efficiency” from a central installation. The encoder enables “seamless video synchronization” between multiple cameras, video return to the field, full-duplex intercom, and data bridging for remote control of cameras, counting light or any other IP device during a live event.
Finally, Aviwest will expose LiveGuest, a new video calling solution that allows broadcast professionals to create attractive and innovative content for the audience, inviting remote guests to join a live video call directly integrated into their production system. The system, easy to implement and use, does not require any web application or software. VIP guests simply click on an email link via laptop.
