Tedial Avid Mediacentral Plugin

The new plug-in for MediaCentral | Cloud UX enhances integration between Avid software and the Tedial platform.

This tool, integrated with the latest version of Tedial Evolution, enables drag-and-drop functionality, allowing users to easily archive content from the Avid production environment or retrieve content from the Tedial platform using MediaCentral. Users will also be able to browse the Tedial archive using multiple search criteria, in low resolution and without the need to download any content. In addition, they will be able to select the Avid MediaCentral location to which they want to send the media.

Similarly, they can select the clip or clips they want to send to Tedial from MediaCentral | Production Management. This not only allows for archiving and retrieval of content, but also leverages the integration capabilities of MediaCentral | CloudUX to enable delivery of content directly to any other destination, including S3, OTT platforms, etc. Finally, the solution can integrate with any other part of the ecosystem (automatic QC, AI tools, transcoders, etc.) to streamline content production and, more importantly, evolve based on future business needs.

Raul Alba, director of media and cloud solutions marketing at Avid, said: “Production teams that rely on Tedial to manage their assets can now easily work in Avid’s open MediaCentral platform to browse, search, edit, share and distribute content easily. The bridging of our products provides production teams with powerful creative capabilities to drive the best storytelling possible.”

Similarly, Julián Fernández-Campón, CTO of Tedial, adds: “We have a very strong technology partnership with Avid that goes back many years. At Tedial, it’s our philosophy to provide users with the highest-quality solutions that simplify workflows and increase productivity. This latest partnership continues to support the production community, now and in the future.”
