The Chyron in NAB 2022 boasts, in addition to a new visual identity, a wide selection of new products led by Chyron Live.

Chyron Live is Chyron's big bet for NAB 2022: An end-to-end, cloud-native, live video production platform with high-end switching, graphics, clip playback, replay, telestration, and asset management capabilities.

Chyron Live - NAB 2022The system feeds the live camera feeds via a Wide variety of transport protocols, making it easier for a team or a single operator to deliver a Live production on the fly. Live features Specific interfaces for each production function and keeps all user sessions synchronized to allow Collaborative workflows. As Ariel Garcia, CEO of Chyron, says, "Our goal is to bring a Chyron-grade cloud-native live video production platform to the world."

From anywhere with an internet connection, and through the convenience of a web browser, users can access the Chyron Live platform to cut/mix live sources, adjust audio levels across feeds, play Prime-quality graphics packages, create unlimited media playlists, and produce live replays with telestration. Live's interface is easy to operate through a Full touchscreen control, the traditional mouse and click of the computer or even from external control devices.

New versions of Click Effects, Paint and Prime

The Prime Click Effects version 4.0 is being shown for the first time in Las Vegas. Thanks to this firmware, Click Effects offers HTML5 dashboards, freeing the operator from a physical control room and giving them freedom of movement throughout the venue. In addition, with this release, the Click Effects manager can Define user roles and permissions, thus ensuring, for example, that playday operators do not inadvertently add or remove content from screens, unless this is part of their role. On the other hand, the Paint version 9.3, telestration and rep trimming tool, offers Automatic calibration, Automatic pitch tracking and Automatic player tracking.

Rounding out Chyron's bets at the NAB Show are new platform enhancements Prime. Among the new features shown are support for NDI 5 and the support of AWS CDI Protocol I/O, underscoring Chyron's commitment to serving customers with solutions that are adaptable to any environment or workflow, and enhancements geared towards the speed of manual playback, including additional hotkey support and keyboard shortcuts.

Visitors to Chyron's booth at the NAB Show also have the opportunity to explore the recently launched Prime Edge. Edge, a module of the Prime platform, offers viewer-controlled graphics, giving the viewer the ability to "navigate" content without leaving the stream stream.
