Panasonic ISE 2024

ISE 2024 has been the framework in which Panasonic has presented a roadmap marked by interconnectivity, the IP world and Kairos, an ecosystem that continues to grow with expected functions.

Panasonic ISE 2024Anna Arkatova, product marketing manager, has transferred the evolution of the Kairos IP platform, which in the first quarter of 2024 will reach version 1.6 and will receive new features such as native support for 16:10, new effects and filters, up to nine audio groups, manager for Kairos core, canvas up to 66M pixels, and HDR support. On the hardware side, Kairos grows with SDI I/O cards (AT-KC20M1) for the latest three Kairos Core servers, the AT-KC200 and AT-KC2000/KC2000S1, designed for more complex productions allowing the mixing of baseband and IP signals. With the ability to add up to 4x AT-KC20M1 units to each Kairos Core, these expand capacity by offering a maximum of 48 inputs/outputs (32 in x 16 out) with 3G SDI and 4 cards, allowing for larger and more complex productions than ever before.

Panasonic - ISE 2024 - Media Production SuiteIn parallel, Panasonic has unveiled its new platform Media Production Suite (MPS), which grants access to multiple functions on a single GUI screen in small and medium-sized productions. This innovative solution streamlines camera setup and provides a wide range of features to make it easy to produce high-quality video with small equipment. Among its most notable functions is Device View, which centralizes the management of different PTZ cameras from a single PC or PTZ Control, with which users can adjust the camera's pan, tilt, and zoom, among other features. The system will grow with future paid features such as the plug-in Video Mixer, which will take advantage of AI to eliminate the need for a green background when composing scenes.

Panasonic ISE 2024The technology company has also introduced its new camera unit AK-UCU700, the brand's first CCU to support Dante, ST 2110, NDI and SRT, and a new PTZ camera AW-UR100 Designed for outdoors, with the IP65 standard, triple camera stabilizer, night mode, compatible with IP connections such as SRT or NDI, and capable of capturing images at 4K60p.

Finally, the Panasonic team has confirmed that it will once again serve as partner of the Paris Olympic Games. This historic collaboration, materialized in previous editions in the use of 1,170 projectors, 940 cameras and 420 large LED screens, will be repeated this year with a large display marked by the Japanese company's renewed focus on sustainability.
