Panasonic Simplifies Professional Projection with New Comprehensive Software Platform
Panasonic launches Visual Software Suite (VSS), a comprehensive platform that transforms the management of complex projection workflows. By integrating design, playback, and programming functions into a single solution, VSS streamlines processes for professional users and significantly reduces operating costs.
Available now as free download, VSS offers audiovisual professionals a Complete control over multi-projector environments. Its easy-to-use design requires no prior training and increases productivity through automated features that reduce time and manual intervention.
Projector setup and management is optimized with comprehensive auto-calibration features, including geometry correction, edge blending, black level adjustment, color matching, and content splitting. Users can also make advanced warping and color adjustments, freeform masking, and uniformity and brightness control. This guarantees a accurate image quality and constant on any projection surface.
VSS also offers a solid projector control, which allows for optics shift, zoom and focus adjustments, as well as power and shutter management, test pattern viewing and web browser access. Its playback and content management functionality supports multiple playlists, gapless looping, integration of external UDP commands, and real-time previews on a PC or projection screen.
For improved operational efficiency, VSS offers automation and programming, which allow users to easily create custom daily playback schedules.
When used in conjunction with the series of FMP50 multimedia processors From Panasonic's box-type (ET-FMP50/FMP20) and Intel SDM compatible card (ET-SBFMP10) devices, VSS is compatible with almost all Panasonic projectors and displays currently available. This provides installers with a flexible and powerful solution to manage complex, large-scale installations.
Camera-based settings
When combined with compatible cameras, VSS enables fast and accurate projection calibration, even on complex surfaces. It seamlessly handles geometric correction, edge blending and color matching, simplifying demanding multi-projector installations and reducing the need for extensive manual adjustments. This significantly reduces setup time and costs, allowing AV professionals to focus on more resource-intensive tasks.
The launch of VSS materializes the strategy Panasonic MEVIX, which focuses on offering visual experiences
innovative and complete solutions throughout the ProAV ecosystem. By integrating projector control, automatic calibration, playback management and scheduling into a single comprehensive solution, VSS improves user workflows and reduces operating costs.
Hartmut Kule, Head of Marketing for Visual System Solutions at Panasonic Connect Europe, highlights that "Visual Software Suite marks an important milestone in our journey to expand Panasonic's software portfolio. It is designed to simplify every step of the AV professionals' visual experience, from design to implementation, within a unified platform."
