INFILED - Disguise - IBC 2023

Those attending IBC 2023 can learn all about the latest Porta 2.2 graphics driver and experience the comprehensive platform of disguise en cinco stands: INFiLED, Absen, Canon, ROE Visual y SmartStage.

Disguise is ubiquitous at IBC 2023 as visitors are able to experience end-to-end solutions and services across five booths at the show, in addition to several keynote sessions showcasing how the disguise platform for content experience and graphics production powers future-ready broadcast productions.

One of the highlights of the fair is the launch of the Porta 2.2 broadcast graphics driver disguise as a single platform for broadcast graphics (CG), MOS redaction templates, augmented reality (AR) and extended reality (xR) that can be easily combined with existing broadcast tools and workflows.

IBC attendees are being the first to know the latest Porta driver version 2.2 from disguise. The release unlocks support for Unreal Engine motion graphics, allowing broadcasters to control all their graphics types (AR, xR and motion graphics) through a single user interface from the cloud or on-prem. This innovation reduces back-and-forth, streamlining workflow, tools and operations.

Disguise solutions can be experienced at IBC at:

  • ROE Visual (stand 7.C26)

LED-based solutions for broadcast stand out in ROE Visual, including the possibility of turn an LED video wall into an xR virtual production studio in one click. In this space a demonstration is carried out in which several cameras can “see” different LED output frames simultaneously thanks to the GhostFrame technology. disguise provides broadcast control for the entire booth and features a dedicated monitor on the brain bar for ultimate control of lighting, camera tracking and color calibration.

At the booth, disguise will participate in a panel of experts moderated by BK Johanessen, from Epic Games, who will discuss Media Engines for Broadcast & Film – What does the future hold?, as well as in a joint presentation with Megapixel and ROE Visual titled Video over IP: What it means for me, which will discuss the growth of ST2110 and IP video in broadcast and the technologies that allow their widespread adoption.

  • INFiLED (stand 2.B43)

disguise makes broadcast graphics workflows convenient, efficient and comprehensive by driving any graphic to any pixel. Daily demonstrations of emission and color workflows from the disguise broadcast team, with motion graphics controlled by Porta.

disguise also demonstrates at the stand its integration with Pomfort Livegrade Studio along with new technology Infinite Colours (RGBW) y 1.9pp CBSF by INFiLED. This demo shows how these technologies can reduce the technical barriers between Livegrade Studio's on-set grading workflow and disguise's virtual production workflow.

  • Roll call (stand 2.B24)

The versatility and high production value of xR studios are revolutionizing sports broadcasting. disguise powers Absen's xR scenario to sports broadcasts ESPN style, along with an area dedicated to electronic sports that will share content on the main broadcast stage.

  • Canon (stand 11.C41)

In Canon's virtual production studio, disguise allows a cinematic virtual production stage y Scalable high-end xR. Shown is a variety of virtual scenes in real time (including photogrammetry), along with Canon's new Flex Zoom cinema lenses offering seamless integration into live camera tracking solutions. The demo features the disguise vx 2 and rx II hardware.

  • SmartStage (stand 3.B24)

disguise's new Invisible real-time markerless mocap solution is designed for creative and technical teams to achieve faster, easier and more cost-effective motion capture for xR productions. Presented at IBC in turnkey xR solution provider SmartStage with daily disguise and Move.ai demos.
