The LED, absolute protagonist of the new BBC News set
The British chain BBC has debuted its new news set, which is strongly committed to LED panels in all their expressions.
He Studio B of the New Broadcasting House London will be the home of the main newscasts of the BBC, BBC News at Six y BBC News at Ten, issued through BBC One y BBC News. The space will also provide voice to London's regional bulletins and a wide selection of news programmes.
The renewal aims modernize the staging of the news from a more “flexible, efficient and creative” studio. Among its main features stands out a curved walkway accompanied by a large LED panel, which will allow viewers to explain different news while the presenters move around it; an LED tower central to provide more impactful news while allowing obtain cuts for dissemination through digital platforms, y large format interactive LED screens.
This staging is complemented by a clear bet on modularity, as the new BBC studio can be reconfigured to perform special programs; the installation of a LED lighting system, and a complex installation of robotic cameras on rails “so that the presenter can move around the studio safely.”
