LiveU cloud

At IBC 2022, in Amsterdam from September 9 to 12, LiveU will highlight its comprehensive live video and remote production (REMI) solutions, powered by its cloud video platform that enables new levels of reliability, flexibility and cost savings.

For the first time, LiveU will showcase its end-to-end cloud production workflow with easylive.io, which the company acquired in May 2022, enabling innovative and interactive live experiences. With the integration of easylive.io, LiveU aims to offer a Complete end-to-end solution for live contribution, cloud production, orchestration, ingest and distribution, serving the needs of all types of clients, from global broadcasters to niche sports and entertainment.

With the accelerated adoption of remote production workflows, LiveU will also introduce its cloud-based solutions for sustainable live productions. By leveraging its IP technology to reduce travel, energy and equipment costs, LiveU helps reduce each organization's carbon footprint, while enabling them to produce high-quality content in the cloud.

Ahead of the show, LiveU will unveil its new 5G live video streaming solutions as part of its comprehensive 5G product suite for broadcast-quality coverage.

5G potential

In terms of contribution, unlocking the potential of live video with 5G, 4K and multi-camera, LiveU will demonstrate its native 5G live contribution and distribution solutions, including production-grade field unit LU800 5G multi-camera, the video transmission solution LU300S 5G small footprint and rich remote production tools, using the LiveU Reliable Transport protocol (LRT).

On the other hand, for greater engagement, and greater efficiency LiveU will present the easylive.io cloud-based live streaming production studio, along with its latest cloud-based solutions. Among them, the new solution LiveU Ingest for automatic recording and metadata tagging of live video, and the award-winning solution LiveU Air Control, which serves as a unique collaboration solution to get remote guests on air and fed live into the system in broadcast quality.

Finally, when it comes to distribution, the cloud video management and distribution solution LiveU Matrix IP, which is increasingly used for global news and sports coverage, offers significant cost savings compared to satellite and fiber. LiveU Matrix will be shown with its new service Dynamic Share, which allows users to share and receive an exponential number of live streams using the Global Directory of more than 10,000 customer endpoints in news, sports, entertainment and other vertical markets.
