The event '25 years of audiovisual creators in Spain' promoted by the Academy of Television and Audiovisual Sciences and Arts in collaboration with the SGAE Foundation will address on Thursday, March 9 in the Manuel de Falla room of SGAE the changes that audiovisual creation has experienced in the series industry.

Coinciding with the twenty-fifth anniversary of the birth of the Author Foundation and with him series premiere that marked a before and after in Spanish television as Companions o Journalists, leading professionals in the sector will address how the series industry evolved. Some of the questions that we will try to answer, advances the TV Academy, are: "What have been the main milestones of our fiction in these 25 years? What differences exist between formats designed for a national market and those intended for a global market? How has the creative process changed in the construction of series? And the figure of the creators? How are networks and platforms involved? Where are creative trends taking us?"

In the first panel, moderated by the academic Cascajosa Conception and titled “The architecture of series in the audiovisual industry”, prominent professionals and directors of our country will participate, such as Veronica Fernandez (fiction director of Nexflix in Spain and Portugal); Teresa Fernandez-Valdes (Bambú producer); Susana Herreras (editor head of original production of Movistar Plus+); Montse Garcia (fiction director of Atresmedia TV), and Arantxa Écija (fiction director of Mediaset España).

Then the journalist Borja Teran will conduct a second meeting between renowned audiovisual creators to address from their point of view the “Evolution and creative trends in Spanish fiction"This panel will feature the testimonies of Manuel Ríos San Martín (writer, scriptwriter and series director); Anna R. Costa (screenwriter, playwright and director); Manuel Valdivia (creator, executive producer, scriptwriters and series director); Eduardo Galdo (executive producer), and Sara Antuña (screenwriter and executive producer).
