AJA Bridge NDI 3G - Carry Live

Carry Live, a company specializing in the world of eSports, has recently added the AJA 3G NDI Bridge to its workflow.

The Taipei-based company uses the high-density gateway solution for 3G SDI/NDI conversion, so its broadcasts can benefit from even more SDI and NDI sources to capture the strategy, reactions and personalities of professionals competing in tournaments such as League of Legends Pacific Championship Series (PFC), Valorant Champions Tour (VCTTWHK), Asia Esports Championship, Riot Games’ Team Fight Tactics and the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet tournament.

AJA Bridge NDI 3G - Carry LiveCarry Live used a NewTek TriCaster (TC1) as the main video mixer for the vast majority of its productions, but the high demands of its productions required it to find a solution for more input sources. To overcome these space constraints, the company turned to NDI to expand its workflows beyond traditional broadcast configurations and support various remote work initiatives. This is where the 3G NDI Bridge comes into play, offering high-density 3G-SDI to NDI and NDI to 3G-SDI conversion for both multichannel HD and 4K/UltraHD. In addition, with AJA’s solution, Carry Live can separate computer graphics (CG) processing, previously done on one machine, into two machines, enabling simultaneous content production and real-time processing. The NDI 3G Bridge has also helped Carry Live to improve its CG graphics, integrate video from its own video games, and enhance the quality of its broadcasts.

Tim Liu, Carry Live’s program manager, is pleased with the performance of the AJA equipment: “We chose AJA Bridge NDI 3G without hesitation, and it’s been a solid decision. AJA’s products are known for high quality and stability, and it’s delivered in this respect.”
