Calrec will present its new ImPulse1 IP engine at IBC 2023
IBC 2023 (September 15-18, Amsterdam) will feature a wide selection of IP solutions from Calrec, among which the new ImPulse1 IP audio processing and routing engine stands out.
The new solution ImPulse1 has been designed to offer a solution ST2110 “powerful and cost-effective” for single-console scenarios. This compact solution 1U, announced at the beginning of the year, will land for the first time in Europe being compatible with control surfaces Argo Q y Argo S, I Calrec Assist, a browser-based graphical user interface.
The solution, with a DSP license totally new from 128 input channels without compromising its capacity ST2110, has been specially designed to adapt to outside broadcasts and all those contexts in which space is limited. However, following the latest trends in the broadcast market, it boasts its scalability with DSP options that reach up to 384 input channels, thus benefiting from the DSP functions of the larger ImPulse core.
Beyond the ImPulse1, Calrec will bring its modular solution to IBC 2023 Argo, which allows users to customize their mixing panel to fit their specific needs; the DSP engine ImPulse, compatible with Calrec Assist, as well as Calrec's Apollo and Artemis consoles; the production unit remains RP1 2U from Calrec, which can be expanded from July 2023 to increase the number of virtual control faders to 72; the plug-and-play broadcast console Brio; the modular and expandable IP mixing system Type R for television and radio, and the IP console Artemis, designed for live and broadcast applications that require a large number of inputs and outputs.
