Radio Inanda renews its main studio with the Capitol IP console from AEQ
The Capitol IP12 digital console AEQ has become the hub of emissions Inanda Radio, a community radio station located in the homonymous region of South Africa.
Inanda Radio, with an average audience of 51,000 daily listeners, broadcasts on 88.4 FM and on its original website, serving as the official station of the region's government. Among its most popular formats are programs that address the daily challenges faced by women, youth, children and people with disabilities in the community. In all of these programs, situations are analyzed from the same perspective: how INK's urban renewal node is addressing these problems.
Recently, the technical management of the station decided to renew its main broadcast studio with the console AEQ Capitol IP12. Radio Inanda undertook this project with the assistance of Buck Broadcast, AEQ distribution company in South Africa.
As its name indicates, the Capitol IP12 It has a fixed configuration of 12 faders. Its IP connectivity is based on a single module 16 input and 16 output channels, incorporated into its “core”. One of the main qualities is the wide input capacity available: 4 mic/line, 12 analog, 4 digital stereo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digital stereo USB, 2 optional telephone lines, and optional digital multichannel audio links. Likewise, it offers 16 AoIP channels on two ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels fiber optic input.
