This is the synopsis of One less life in the Canary Islands: "Luis Lacasa, prestigious homicide inspector in Madrid, is forced to accept a transfer to the Canary Islands and adapt to everything he hates: the heat, the sand and tourists, but above all to Naira, a charismatic inspector, lover of her land with whom, despite their differences and rivalries, he forms a good team and at the same time, a complicity that questions his iron convictions. The cold and cerebral Castilian suffers achromatopsia, a visual dysfunction that makes him see life in gray tones, without color, a pathology that has amplified his secrecy. In this criminal paradise, the inspector reunites with his daughter Jimena, a renowned chef with whom he has been estranged since his wife died, in the accident that has consequences. Life on the islands will push him to leave his comfort zone, meet his daughter and be amazed by a disturbing detail, sometimes he perceives color in the inspector.
