These are the new storage solutions from Western Digital

Among the new storage proposals Western Digital highlights the new SanDisk PRO-Cinema CFexpress type B, a quality memory card designed especially for the high demands in film production.

Recently launched at IBC 2023 in Amsterdam, the SanDisk PRO-Cinema CFexpress type B offers the professional performance needed to work with the highest quality cinema images.

Con minimum write speeds sustained from 1400MB/s, the card allows users capture 8K video with cinematic quality without dropping frames. Furthermore, it is a very robust solution since it resists drops of up to 1 meter and up to 50 newtons (11.2 pounds of force), thus protecting irreplaceable images and videos.

Compatible with PRO-Reader and PRO-Dock 4, when used with SanDisk Professional PRO-Reader CFexpress and PRO-Dock 4 devices (sold separately by Western Digital) it enables scalable, simultaneous downloads to help maximize productivity.

Another novelty is the SanDisk Ultra microSD UHS-I, a 1.5TB card ideal for Android devices, Chromebooks, and Windows laptops with a high level of storage.

The card achieves transfer speeds of up to 150 MB/s read when paired with a SanDisk MobileMate USB 3.0 microSD card reader. Its level of quality and performance is based on SanDisk's experience and legacy of storage innovation.

Allows you to quickly expand storage on host devices that support microSD UHS-I cards, such as Android smartphones and tablets, Chromebooks, or Windows laptops.

Also worth noting is the “two-in-one” flash drive. SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Luxe USB Type-C. It is all metal with reversible USB Type-C and Type-A connectors available in gold (from 128 GB to 512 GB) and Silver. Allows you to automatically back up photos using the SanDisk Memory Zone 5 app. Available in up to 1TB capacity, it features high-performance USB 3.2 Gen 1 for fast file transfers.
