AEQ - Atrium - Band FM AoIP

The Atrium AoIP compatible digital console from AEQ lands in Band FM's main studio as part of the latest technical renewal of this veteran station from São Paulo (Brazil).

Radio Bandeirantes, a network of Brazilian radio stations belonging to the Bandeirantes de Comunicação Group, was inaugurated on May 6, 1937 and since then it has been present in the coverage of the most important events in Brazil. Beyond having reach in the main Brazilian cities, it has extensive coverage in the most remote areas of Brazil, such as the Amazon and beyond the borders, through its powerful Short Wave, satellite and Internet equipment. Its national network covers 13 states, plus the Federal District and includes 7 own stations and 56 associated stations.

Recently, the technical management of Radio Bandeirantes decided to update the main radio broadcast studio. Band FM in São Paulo, which broadcasts through FM and its website. The station already had AEQ digital material in their studios as an AEQ Arena console, which has been updated and transformed in a new AEQ Atrium digital console Fully digital with capabilities audio over IP, as well as a fully configurable control surface and color touch screens. The entire project has been led by the chief engineer of Band FM Jean-Pierre Zanetti, in collaboration with the AEQ Madrid technical service for final touches, configuration and remote customization.
