Telestream - NAB 2024 - Live Capture as a Service

Live Capture as a Service, GLIM as a Service and the improved Live Play 2.0 are the three new tools with which Telestream seeks to leave behind traditional live content production and address more flexible and decentralized workflows in NAB 2024.

Live Capture as a Service has been designed to allow broadcasters to leverage cloud technology to offer new ways to capture content live “efficiently and profitably”. “Streamlined” playback with Live Play 2.0

Another important novelty of Telestream straight away NAB 2024 will be Live Play 2.0, a dynamic playback solution that accelerates access to content and speeds up the assembly and broadcast of news. This platform allows you to quickly organize both new and archived content, making it easy to quickly compile stories with various multimedia elements.

In the field of studio production, Live Play 2.0 is presented as a “indispensable” tool for quality control, as it allows immediate review of signals from multiple cameras. The new capabilities of its renewed user interface, with multiviewer functions and better access to content, can be discovered in depth at the Las Vegas fair.

With the integration of the standard ST2110 Scheduled for the second half of 2024, Live Play 2.0 will release other long-awaited new features such as compatibility with the protocol Advanced Media Protocol (AMP), which facilitates its integration with third-party newsroom control systems (NCS).
