Harmonic launches Pearl R-OLT, its new high-density remote OLT

The broad ecosystem of DOCSIS fiber edge devices from Harmonic powered by the virtualized core cOS is expanded with the new Pearl R-OLT remote optical line termination module, with which the company seeks to accelerate the time to market of high-speed fiber broadband.

Pearl R-OLT, which benefits from technologies Ripple y Oyser from Harmonic, takes advantage of fiber technologies such as GPON, ComboPON y XGS-PON, which in the words of Nimrod Ben-Nathan, CEO and senior vice president of the business Broadband from Harmonic, “gives operators the flexibility to quickly and affordably deliver high-speed broadband services anywhere and with any back office.”
