Charmex develops MiniLed 4 in 1 in Traulux LED modules

The faithful color reproduction of 4-in-1 MiniLed technology, developed by Charmex for the T-Rent range Traulux, opens new possibilities in virtual productions.

In the midst of the constant evolution of the audiovisual sector, Charmex has taken a step forward with its innovative technology MiniLed 4 in 1 in the Traulux T-Rent range, “an advance that not only marks a milestone in the industry, but also responds directly to critical market demands, especially in the LED screen rental sector,” they explain.

After more than two years of development, research and meticulous implementation, “Charmex has achieved a remarkable feat by combining superior resolution with resistance and durability”, two essential attributes in the demanding environment of LED screen rental.

One of the most notable features of the 4-in-1 MiniLed technology is its extraordinary mechanical resistance. By grouping four Led lamps in a single capsule, Charmex has achieved a significant increase in the ability to withstand impacts, even tolerating up to 14 kg of force. With this remarkable robustness, MiniLed 4 reduces Up to 90% pixel breaks.

This technological innovation is not limited only to physical resistance, but also due to its differentiating characteristics from conventional SMD LEDs. Thanks to its precise calibration and MOM module (memory on module), MiniLed 4 in 1 offers an amazing Brightness up to 1,300 nits after calibration, and contrast of 10,000:1 and the ability to achieve 98% of DCI-P3 color space.

Consistent and uniform color

This precision in calibration guarantees consistent color reproduction and uniformity across the entire screen, while the MOM Module provides optimal management and control, thanks to the memory integrated into each LED module.

Although, as Charmex points out, “the true magic of 4-in-1 MiniLed technology is revealed in its visual performance, with vivid and detailed images, even in environments with a lot of ambient light.”

In addition, being able to reach 98% of the DCI-P3 color space, MiniLed 4 in 1 guarantees wide and accurate color reproduction, ideal for applications that require faithful image representation, such as film productions and live events.
