Mediapro, hand in hand with host broadcasters for four UEFA 2024 club finals
260 people and 11 mobile units Mediapro have been part of four UEFA 2024 club finals thanks to collaboration agreements with different host broadcasters.
Through your department Broadcast Media Services (BMS), Mediapro has closed collaboration agreements with those responsible for the production of the main continental finals (men's and women's UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League) to provide them production services y technical resources, and support them in compliance with the production and transmission standards.
Dublin was the scene of the first of these competitions, the UEFA Europa League, in which the Italian team Atalanta beat Bayern Leverkusen. The group Saran Media, rightholder of the competition in Ireland, trusted the experience of BMS and its team to provide them with the necessary technical means for the multilateral production of this match with 130 professionals and 3 mobile units.
Three days after the final in the Irish capital, the UEFA Champions League femenina in Bilbao. Barcelona played in its fourth consecutive final and became the third team to win three titles, surpassing French side Lyon. On this occasion, DAZN, which owns global rights until 2025, chose Mediapro BMS like technical supplier of the transmission at the San Mamés stadium. The group had a team of 35 professionals, 2 mobile units and 17 cameras. At the head of the production team was the Portuguese television director, Claudia Santos.
The group was also hired by Cosmote and the Greek producer ABC to provide support, with a team of 35 people and 2 mobile units, to various audiovisual services in the final of the UEFA Conference League which took place at the AEK Arena in Athens on May 29. Mediapro BMS has also provided unilateral services in the final Men's UEFA Champions League which was played this Saturday at Wembley Stadium, in London, and which won the Real Madrid. The group deployed a team of 60 people and 4 mobile units to provide service to Movistar+ Spain, TNT Sports Brazil and Mexico, TV SBT Brazil and ESPN LATAM.
