AEQ - Island 92 - Forum IP Split

The table AEQ Forum IP Split is the new technological core of the Caribbean station Island 92, a radio station that put its broadcasts on standby as a result of a fire in its main studio.

Island 92 It is a station located in Saint Martin in the Caribbean belonging to the Caribbean Broadcasting Network. The radio was off the air for a period of time due to the fire in the District 721, as a result of which the chain suffered water and heat damage to its antennas and data center. After undertaking the corresponding reforms, the station is once again operational with its usual programming of music and entertainment programs, as well as with two teams of AEQ: a console Forum IP Split intended for study on-air and a console Capitol IP, to the production studio.

AEQ - Island 92 - Forum IP SplitThe AEQ Split IP Forum is a mixing console designed for emissions control on-air. It incorporates all the basic features necessary in this type of environment: automatic cut-off of monitors, cut-off cough, faderstart, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication... With a modular design and small size, it adapts perfectly to different scenarios: self-control, control-call room, television production controls, sound production, mixed configurations or integration in large installations, among others.

On the other hand, the AEQ Capitol IP It comes as an 8-channel fixed configuration digital audio mixing console. In this solution, the implementation of IP connectivity is based on a single module with 16 input and 16 output channels, incorporated into its “core”. One of the main qualities of the AEQ Capitol IP is the wide input capacity available: 4 mic/line, 12 analog, 4 digital stereo AES/EBU (AES3), 2 digital stereo USB, 2 optional telephone lines, and optional digital multichannel audio links. In addition, it has 16 AoIP channels on two Ethernet connectors or 64 MADI channels via fiber optic input.

The system is complemented by the multi-conference system Systel IP and the interface Netbox 32 AD MX for simultaneous transmission.
