AEQ Forum - Radio Rubí

The digital table AEQ Forum Split provides new possibilities to the technical team of Radio Ruby, a Catalan station that has recently undertaken a renovation of its main broadcast studio.

Founded in November 1979, Radio Rubí 99.7 FM was born with a clear public service vocation, offering the citizens of Rubí a diverse programming that covers news, sports, cultural content and spaces for neighborhood participation. In 1996, her work was recognized with the Rosalía Rovira award for the best municipal radio station in Catalonia.

Since its inception, Radio Rubí has ​​opted for AEQ technology, incorporating solutions such as audiocodecs and automation systems. As a local public broadcaster, your technical needs focus on robust equipment, of easy operation and with a good value for money, conditions that AEQ has met over the years.

AEQ Forum - Radio RubíIn its most recent technical renovation, the management of Radio Rubí opted to install the digital console AEQ Forum Split for “its ease of use, operational reliability and high audio quality.” Designed specifically for the live broadcast control, this solution integrates all the essential functions for this type of environments: automatic cut-off of monitors, cough button, automatic activation with faders (faderstart), signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications and intercom systems, among other features.

With a Modular design and compact format, the AEQ Forum easily adapts to a wide variety of environments: from studios in self-control and studio-control mode, to television production controls, sound production or integrations in large installations with mixed configurations. The Forum IP Split version incorporates the motor modular FR Core, housed in a three-rack unit chassis. This configuration can include up to six quad fader modules, plus a dedicated control and monitoring unit.

The Forum can also be equipped with multichannel audio over IP (AoIP) input and output cards, compatible with the AES67 protocol using DANTE technology. This connectivity allows signals to be exchanged with other consoles, routers and input and output devices from more than 300 different manufacturers, facilitating flexible integration into complex professional environments. In addition, as an alternative, it is also possible to opt for MADI connectivity, as well as up to two internal digital telephone hybrids.
