UPFJC with AEQ Forum Split

Based in Bogotá (Colombia), the Francisco José de Caldas Public University renews its radio studios by integrating a Forum IP Split digital console (in its 20-fader version), with 64 DANTE channels, AEQ.

This university has been training students from all over the country since 1948, and from now on, journalism degree students can enjoy renovated radio studios, with AEQ technology.

The students complete their training by doing radio practices in a real station, called LAUD 90.4FM, which is heard across campus and on various online platforms.

UPFJC with AEQ Forum SplitWith the installation of Forum IP Split, students will be able to practice with a broadcast console and acquire the appropriate technical skills to enter the professional market. The console incorporates all the basic features necessary in broadcasting environments: automatic monitor cut-off, cough cut-off, faderstart, signaling control, control signals for the automation of external equipment, management of external communications, intercommunication...

Additionally, the facility has been equipped with the software Forum Screen that allows viewing in an enlarged and graphical way the parameters of use and the Software Virtual that allows remote control.

The system is completed with the interface Netbox 4MH for greater performance, featuring high-quality microphone inputs and headphone outputs, over an IP over network. Dante protocol.
