Centro América Hits completes its jump to digital with the Forum IP Split console from AEQ

The digital console AEQ Forum IP Split is the protagonist of the migration from analog to digital of the Brazilian station Centro América Hits Sorriso, which offers a selection of local pop music and national and international hits.

With the aim of improving the quality of its broadcast and adapting to new technologies, CA Hits Sorriso has implemented the digital console AEQ Forum IP a digital mixing and control console designed for broadcast environments that require maximum reliability, flexibility and audio quality. The modular architecture of this solution, implemented by Lineup, official distributor of AEQ in Brazil, allows the control chassis to be separated from the audio engine, facilitating integration into modern studios and small spaces.

With native support for the Dante AoIP protocol, the Forum IP Split allows direct connection to networks of audio over IP, guaranteeing latency-free, stable and high-quality transmission. Additionally, it offers customizable configuration options, automatic streaming functions, and an intuitive workflow that simplifies live operation.

Thanks to the implementation of the Forum IP Split, the studio has a fully digital system which allows more efficient operation and professional quality audio, eliminating noise and mismatch problems that occurred with the old analog console. The integration with the Dante protocol ensures a clean PGM signal, improving the experience for both operators and listeners.
