Six decades of history, collected in 'La Farola del Mar', a new production by ISII Group

Six Group, a platform for accelerating audiovisual projects, and the production company Inefable Productions have begun filming in Gran Canaria for 'La Farola del Mar', a period production that spans six decades and stands out as one of the 13 original productions developed from the projects awarded in the I National Script Competition Break On Time 59'.

The sea lamp, directed by the Gran Canarian Very Good, tells the love story of Ana Mari and Antonio over six decades; from 1954 to the present. The medium-length film stars Mapi Sagaseta (I'll get off next time, how about you?, blood of may) and Carlos Olalla (Group 7, Acacias 38), who play the main couple in adulthood, while Sofía Marrero (The Room) y Javier de Lathouwer (summer vacation) give life to the same characters in their youth.

Great Alayón, trained in film direction at the Madrid and Canary Islands Film Institute, is the author of the short films Karma, Gen, Russian Roulette, Ego y Deadly Purchase, selected in various international competitions, such as the Yungas International Film Festival or the Festival Du Cinéma Européen Lille. Mahay has also worked as assistant director in national and international productions, such as films Black Beach y The devil carries him, in addition to being a director in the historical series Insulae: Chronicle of our history to Canarian Television, a docudrama that covers key episodes in the history of the Canary Islands.

The script is signed by himself Great Alayón and the young woman from Malaga Paula Lloret, who at the age of 19 became the youngest winner of the national screenplay competition Break On Time 59' in the fiction category. Paula Lloret has worked in different production companies as a director and art and costume director. Currently, he is doing training internships on the television program Got Talent while studying film direction.
