RTVE continues to be immersed in the implementation of a wide deployment of cutting-edge technology for the production of Eurovision Junior 2024, an appointment that will take place on November 16.

Nearly 800 personas have worked at full performance throughout the assembly, waiting for the 17 delegations participants for their first rehearsals. A total of 60 trucks have transported all the technical material to the Caja Mágica: more than 800 lighting fixtures latest generation, 20 kilometers of wiring, 175 engines y 11 generators that will serve the live broadcast of the show.

On both sides of said screen there will be two entrances to be able to introduce the props that will accompany the different performances. At the back of these entrances there will be two large vertical gardens of 14 meters that will have their own lighting. In addition, the ground will be covered by a 100 square meter circular screen.

Regarding the image, RTVE has deployed a human team of around 100 personas in the Magic Box, using one of its two type units F, the most complete mobile unit that RTVE has and configured for this project with a total of 18 cameras. These cameras include special equipment with gyro-stabilized cameras, such as a crane Moviebird 52, which can extend up to 15.7 meters, and a Cablecam 2D, which will provide stunning aerial images. In addition, two have been installed tracking shots robotics equipped with telescopic columns up to 3 meters high; one overhead camera, two cameras in steadicam and three shoulder cameras, all equipped with radio frequency systems to ensure total mobility on stage.

Junior Eurovision 2024 - Numbers - RTVE technologyFor the sound, RTVE has developed an ambitious design for Junior Eurovision 2024, marking a notable evolution compared to previous projects and led by the best professionals. have been installed 4,000 meters of audio cabling to configure 11 audio consoles, 54 wireless microphones, 40 monitors in-ear and the rest of the necessary auxiliary equipment, reaching a power of 400,000 watts in the public address system.

Finally, the RTVE Digital Implementation Unit, made up of a team of 7 computers for graphics, has developed the necessary applications to represent the graphic line y manage voting of the different countries. As a novelty, they have been pioneers in the presentation of graphics on an 8K screen.
