‘Velvet’ (Antena 3) will be revived in the United States and Latin America with a remake promoted by Telemundo

Telemundo will premiere in its windows in the United States and Latin America a new version of 'Velvet', a legendary series of Atresmedia Television y Bamboo Productions which was broadcast in Spain between 2014 and 2016.

The fiction created by Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira swept its 55 episodes broadcast on Antena 3, achieving its all-time maximum audience in its last episode, surpassing the 4.3 million viewers on average and a 26.2% share of screen. A chapter that became the big television event of the year 2016 since it had a part of the episode broadcast on rigorous direct.

The series has been one of the most successful fictions in the history of Atresmedia, closing its career with a total average of 20.9% share and more than 3.7 million viewers. In his last season, 'Velvet' was the most watched series of the season and triumphed with a large 21.7% share and more than 3.5 million viewers on average. It was thus the only weekly Prime Time series of all those released since 2010 that managed to exceed the number of 50 episodes broadcast.

Now, the series will have an adaptation for television channels. Telemundo in USA y Latin America which will be released next year 2025. This new version of the story, which will feature a story brought to the present day set in New York, will be recorded at the facilities of Telemundo Center in Miami.
