Pedralonga Estudios will manage Coruña Estudio Inmersivo (CEI), the "largest virtual production set in Spain"

The Provincial Council of A Coruña has awarded for 20 years the management of Coruña Estudio Inmersivo (CEI), defined as "the largest virtual production set in Spain", to the company Pedralonga Estudios, established in 2024 and participated by the Galician Audiovisual Cluster and by renowned companies in the audiovisual sector, such as Portocabo, TEX45 Producciones, Vaca Films, Voz Audiovisual, Congo Producciones, Zenit Televisión, Producciones Audiovisuales Siete Media, Undodez, Avendaño Estudio and Centro de Estudios Marcote.

The object of the contract to be signed with Pedralonga Studies consists of the Management and operation Virtual Production Center VPxR, promoted by the Provincial Council of A Coruña within the framework of the project "Digital Ecosystem of the Audiovisual Sector of Galicia (EDAGA) – Coruña Immersive Study (CEI)", for a period of 20 years extendable for another 5 more. The CEI, an infrastructure that will come into operation at the beginning of 2025, has involved an investment of about €9 million, co-financed by the Provincial Council and the Government of Spain through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.

Pedralonga Studies, beyond the management and operation of this infrastructure, will take care of your Promotion and positioning in the national and international audiovisual market, as well as its "sustainable growth and continuous innovation" or to guarantee its "operability and optimal functioning". This set, which will have the "most advanced technology" in the world in virtual audiovisual production, aims to position Galicia as a reference for the most ambitious productions in the audiovisual industry.
