Viva - Mystics - Sound fiction - podcast

Created, written and directed by Carmen Pacheco and Manuel Bartual, the thriller 'Místicas' reaches the main audio-on-demand platforms with the promotion of Viva.

After the celebrations Blum y Sanctuary, the creators return with an eight-episode mystery thriller starring Clara Galle (Through my window, Not one more, The Head) y Mia Sala-Patau (A commonplace, This is not Sweden). He world of video games and the role of women in the “gamer” community, the search for the truth at any price and cyberbullying are the starting point of this story starring Lola and Sara, two friends and podcasters who will put their lives in danger for reveal the mysteries around the 80's video game Mystics. “The result of their obsession to reach the final screen will lead these two friends to a game of mirrors between reality and fiction from which it will be difficult to escape,” reads the synopsis of the fiction.

The technical team also includes renowned figures from the podcast world, such as Ignacio Cantisano, in charge of sound design (Titania, Blum), y From Delay, composer of the original music (Titania, Biotopia, Blum). The production of Mystics is run by Viva., a production company and creative studio founded by the filmmaker Pablo Maqueda (The unknown, Dear Werner) and the producer, screenwriter and marketing and communication executive Viana wind Celia Dosal, production director of this sound fiction, explains about this mystery thriller that "from this first episode, Carmen and Manuel have achieved a narrative so visual that you can imagine each scene just by listening to it. The same will happen in the following episodes. It has been a privilege to accompany this project from the beginning."

Mystics brings together, for the third time, Carmen Pacheco and Manuel Bartual, duo of leading creators in the world of podcasts. Authors of the acclaimed futuristic dystopia Sanctuary, whose adaptation has recently been released on television, and of Blum, mystery sound fiction with a triple nomination for the Ondas Global Podcast Awards and the Ondas Award for Best Branded Podcast.
