Panasonic Europe will be led by the Spanish Josep Betorz

Josep Betorz, until now CFO, will take on the challenge of leading Panasonic Europe from the position of CEO.

Betorz is part of the team Panasonic since 2008, when he joined as director of finance and operations of Panasonic Spain until becoming, in 2010, financial director of Panasonic Iberia. In 2013, he was promoted to the regional headquarters organization and, since 2019, has held the position of financial director de Panasonic Europe.

According to Panasonic itself, Josep Betorz He will provide “experience and knowledge” to drive greater efficiency in the company, without losing sight of the new challenges that sustainability has brought to the technology industry. At the same time, the new CEO of Panasonic Europe will continue to promote the deployment of artificial intelligence tools in the brand's main solutions.

In his first words as head of Panasonic Europe, Bertoz shares what will be the main lines of his mandate: “My priority is to guarantee the achievement of the Panasonic business strategy Green Impact and support our business segments to continue consolidating their solid position in the field of AI in Europe. It is not an easy task, as we take into account the current geopolitical problems, as well as the European economic challenges, but at Panasonic Europe we are prepared to succeed."
