Panasonic Europe will be led by the Spanish Josep Betorz

Josep Betorz, hasta ahora director financiero, asumirá el desafío de liderar Panasonic Europa desde la posición de CEO.

Betorz forma parte del equipo de Panasonic desde 2008, cuando se incorporó como director de finanzas y operaciones de Panasonic España hasta convertirse, en 2010, en director financiero de Panasonic Iberia. En 2013, fue ascendido a la organización de la sede regional y, desde 2019, ocupa el cargo de financial director de Panasonic Europe.

Según remarca la propia Panasonic, Josep Betorz He will provide “experience and knowledge” to drive greater efficiency in the company, without losing sight of the new challenges that sustainability has brought to the technology industry. At the same time, the new CEO of Panasonic Europe will continue to promote the deployment of artificial intelligence tools in the brand's main solutions.

In his first words as head of Panasonic Europe, Bertoz shares what will be the main lines of his mandate: “My priority is to guarantee the achievement of the Panasonic business strategy Green Impact and support our business segments to continue consolidating their solid position in the field of AI in Europe. It is not an easy task, as we take into account the current geopolitical problems, as well as the European economic challenges, but at Panasonic Europe we are prepared to succeed."
