SDVI - Rally - NAB 2025

In NAB 2025 (April 6-9, Las Vegas), SDVI will share with the global broadcast industry the latest improvements to Rally, a supply chain management platform that has recently improved its management of forms and metadata, as well as its integration with third-party solutions.

Among the main novelties of Rally is found the centralization of the management of forms and metadata lists, allowing changes to metadata forms to be made once and propagated to each Rally Gateway that you can use that form. This improvement also enables dynamically linked lists so that forms can access centralized metadata dropdown values that are relevant to a selection of higher-level metadata (such as movies directed by a specific director).

On the other hand, building on its already extensive ecosystem of technology and application partners, SDVI will demonstrate new functionalities based on integrations with technologies of Media-Anywhere for editing, Eikon Group for management of external work and Spectra Logic for local storage management. These alliances optimize media supply chains for SDVI clients by integrating capabilities that previously only existed separately into the Rally platform, thereby increasing the visibility and management of these activities.

Additionally, in its mission to maximize the agility, efficiency and visibility of media operations, SDVI has introduced new operator interfaces for its Rally Insight and Rally Connect products. The latest updates of Rally Insight, a data visualization tool for analyzing massive volumes of supply chain data, have added new visualizations and operator control over the data being presented, particularly for costs and job durations. On the other hand, Rally Connect, a template-based Rally module that automates the packaging and delivery of content to distribution partners, offers a new operational user interface that tracks the delivery status of both content packages and metadata updates.

In addition to showcasing the continued innovations added to the Rally platform in recent months, SDVI will also highlight the new technical integrations with third-party products adjacent to customers' primary media supply chains. These alliances dramatically improve operational agility and efficiency, while providing greater visibility into information on the status and cost of work performed by third-party service providers.

Geoff Stedman, CMO de SDVI, figure in more than 100 the new improvements introduced in Rally since the 2024 edition of NAB. "It is a reflection of our long-standing commitment to continuous innovation and agile, customer-oriented development. This year will be no different. Once again, we will highlight the multiple improvements that provide significant increases in productivity and content performance," he notes.
