At NAB, Harmonic will highlight its platform SaaS VOS 360 and advanced media processor CHARACTERISTIC, enabling live sports broadcasting at scale with pristine quality up to UHD HDR, low latency and targeted advertising to millions of simultaneous viewers.
In Las Vegas, it will also demonstrate its new standalone SaaS server-side ad insertion (SSAI) solution to deliver streaming services with improved addressability at scale.
The cloud will also be very present at Harmonic's booth in Las Vegas. The company offers an end-to-end cloud-native broadcast solution, featuring automated linear channel alignments for FAST distribution, Simplified HTML5 chart creation branding for live content with Flowics and an expanded ecosystem focused on video streaming, reducing costs, increasing operational efficiency and driving monetization.
Demonstrations with partners
Harmonic will highlight key collaborations with some of its partners with VOS360 demos at the AWS and Microsoft Azure booths, Nextgen TV streaming with the ATSC Forum, powerful hybrid on-premises and cloud broadcast workflows controlled by Aveco and Crispin automation systems, and seamless UHD HDR streaming experiences with the UHD Forum.
