Harmonic's VOS 360 Ad SaaS In-Stream Advertising Opens New Monetization Opportunities
Harmonic has unveiled at NAB 2024 a pioneering advance in the monetization of live sports broadcasts with the introduction of in-stream advertising with new split-screen advertising formats offered by its VOS 360 Ad SaaS solution.
This innovative feature creates new premium inventory for live sports broadcasting, allowing advertisers to reach viewers without disrupting the viewing experience while allowing publishers to optimize their sports content monetization strategies.
VOS360 Ad offers in-stream advertising through server insertion of new formats addressable advertising such as double-box and dynamic L-bars. These split-screen ads can be strategically placed at peak and low-action moments in matches, either manually or automated from external data sources. This dynamic inventory integration split screen within live programming not only amplifies brand awareness, but also maximizes monetization opportunities for live sports broadcasting.
With a strong focus on quality and user experience, VOS360 Ad offers in-stream ads with a significantly lower latency compared to other solutions. The new split-screen ad formats are fully compatible with the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including traditional ad servers for impression-based selling.

Nimrod Ben-Natan, nuevo CEO
Coincidiendo con su presencia en Las Vegas, Harmonic ha anunciado que Patrick Harshman se jubilará como presidente y consejero delegado a partir del 11 de junio de 2024. El Consejo de Administración de Harmonic ha nombrado sucesor a Nimrod Ben-Nathan, currently senior vice president and general manager of Harmonic's Broadband division. Harshman will work with the Council and Ben-Natan to ensure a smooth transition.
Ben-Natan joined Harmonic in 1996 as a software engineer to design and develop its first-generation video streaming platform. He has led Harmonic's Broadband business as senior vice president and general manager since 2012. Ben-Natan is recognized by the company as having been a key driving force in the advancement of next-generation broadband networks, and his visionary leadership has been instrumental in pioneering the development and widespread deployment of cOS virtualized broadband technology.
