Lawo will expand its Home ecosystem at NAB 2025 with four new applications

Home Power Core, Home Video Monitor, Home Commentary and Home MC2 Crystal Controller join the ecosystem of applications Theirs, a firm that will premiere at NAB 2025 its vision to “rethink” the infrastructure of broadcasters and reduce, in the process, their “costs.”

Continuing with his cross view of the IP infrastructures, a path started with its platform Home and followed by the “hyperdensity” platform .edge, the applications Home and the subscription model Lawo Flex, Lawo will travel to Las Vegas with important news created with the same objective: to achieve the design of broadcast infrastructure most efficient possible. To do this, the company has expanded its ecosystem of applications with four new solutions.

On the one hand, Home Power Core, an audio processing application based on microservices, seeks to offer the main functions of the Power Core of theirs, but running low standard CPU-based servers. Users can choose between an instance compact, one large and one XL of the application to optimize the use of available CPU cores; all this, operating in environments ST 2110, Ravenna, AES 67, NDI, SRT y Dante AV.

Lawo has also debuted its new mobile approach to Home apps: Lawo Workspaces. This set of remotely accessible user interfaces allows Lawo Home applications to be controlled from any desktop, laptop, tablet or phone, providing low-latency audio, video and control through a browser-based user interface. Three new Lawo applications will benefit from this framework: Home Commentary, which allows professional contribution of commentary from any location; Home Video Monitor, designed for viewing and selecting sequences and videos, and Home mc² crystal, which allows you to enhance a crystal console for use in all types of environments.

In addition, Theirs has confirmed a remake of your application Home Multiviewer. Renamed as “Home Intelligent Multiviewer”, allows you to use the different versions in proxy of the multiviewer signals to, again, optimize the use of the resources.

All Home applications can be used in a scalable way with the token model Lawo Flex or opt for the perpetual purchase of the usage licenses.
