LiveU - NAB 2025

Supported by all the advantages of the IP world, the ecosystem of LiveU continues its expansion in NAB 2025 improving interoperability between systems and implementing automation workflows, allowing television networks and other organizations to accelerate and optimize production processes.

He LiveU EcoSystem is defined as a modular set of “best-in-class” components that allows customers to deploy different configurations and workflows, aligned with their production requirements. It is supported by the protocol LiveU LR (LiveU Reliable Transport), rugged and low latency, and further enhanced by LiveU IQ (LIQ), LiveU's connectivity solution.

At the core of these new integrations is the automatic recording and metadata tagging solution of stories LiveU Ingest. This tool allows access to live content from anywhere and is interoperable with other production tools, connecting live video from the field and growing files with NRCS (computing newsroom systems), AI transcription, MAM (media asset management) and storage systems.

LiveU - NAB 2025The growing interoperability of this ecosystem and the possibilities it offers in all types of environments are presented at NAB 2025 through different case studies. In this way, it is shown how LiveU is capable of ingesting live content, making it instantly accessible along with rich and searchable metadata (via ignoble) and increasing real-time transcription (via Three) in the MAM system of Mimir; compatibility of files with systems Avid for news and sports production workflows, or the new possibilities for generating story metadata in LiveU Central on the part of AP Storytelling.

Visitors to the LiveU booth can also attend practical demonstrations in which it will be shown how these technologies are integrated with the existing broadcast infrastructures and emerging production environments cloud based. Additionally, experts from Tupelo Honey, AWS, Vizrt and LiveU will present a success story of a efficient live sports production in the cloud based on REMI. The session will take place on Tuesday, April 8 between 2:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. PST in the Creator Lab Theater B – South Hall Lower.
