K&S Films produce ‘La desconocida’ para Netflix

Filming of 'The Unknown' begins, a production of K&S Films to Netflix directed by Gabe Ibáñez and written by Lara Sendim that adapts the novel of the same name by Rosa Montero and Olivier Truc.

The unknown tells the story of a woman (Ana Rujas) who, gagged and tied, is found by the police inside a container in the port of Barcelona. Unable to remember her identity, she is taken to the hospital, where her life is once again in danger after an assassination attempt. Detective Anna Ripoll (Candela Peña) is assigned to investigate this enigmatic case alongside officer Quique Zárate (Pol López). Together they will embark on a race against time to discover the identity of this mysterious woman and the secrets hidden in her memory.

Matías Mosteirin y Pola Zito are the executive producers on behalf of K&S Films, a production company that has consolidated its international prestige with titles such as the Oscar-nominated Wild Tales by Damián Szifrón, also winner of the BAFTA for Best Foreign Film; Pablo Trapero's Clan, winner of the Silver Lion for Best Director at the Venice Film Festival; The Angel by Luis Ortega; Accused by Gonzalo Tobal, both selected in the Official Competition of the Venice Film Festival, or The Odyssey of the Giles by Sebastián Borensztein, Official Competition of the San Sebastián Festival. Its more recent production, The Eternaut, a series based on the science fiction classic, starring Ricardo Darín and produced for Netflix, has become a global audience success.
