Christie to showcase cinema experiences with sustainable impact and smarter operations at CineEurope 2025

Christie will show at CineEurope (June 16-19 at CCIB Barcelona) how its innovations in the film sector elevate the viewer experience with technologies such as its software-based solution for VDR (Variable Dynamic Range) projectors.

As for the VDR technology allows to offer Vivid images and deeper blacks, improving energy efficiency and reducing total cost of ownership. Compatible with all projectors Christie Real|Laser From the CineLife+ Series, VDR works on all types of screens with standard content, without the need for special mastering. In standard mode at 14 foot-lamberts (48 nits), VDR can double the sequential contrast ratio, improving image quality while reducing laser energy consumption and extending laser life.

Regarding the range of pure RGB laser projectors Christie's is the most complete on the market in terms of sustainability, with high lumen/watt efficiency, low CO₂ emissions, washable filters and hundreds of possible projector and lens combinations for high brightness, high contrast and ultra-high contrast applications at different projection distances. The models will be exhibited at the fair CP2415-RGB y CP4435-RGB, equipped with CineLife+ electronics and Real|Laser lighting, offering outstanding image quality, long life and operational efficiency. The model will also be presented CP2406-RBe, which offers impressive images thanks to the Phazer enhanced laser illumination technology, with a long operating life that combines performance and affordability. All projectors incorporate the Christie CineLife+ IMB-S4 media server, which includes high frame rate 4K playback out of the box, 3.6TB of usable internal SSD storage and expandability via the optional NAS-S4 storage solution, plus an industry-leading five-year warranty.

PLF Experience

For exhibitors looking to offer a premium experience in large format rooms (PLF), the system Cinity combines 4K, 3D resolution, high brightness, high frame rate, enhanced contrast and wide color gamut with immersive sound. Christie is a technology partner and authorized reseller of the Cinity projection system, providing high-performance digital projection technology and associated services.

On the other hand, the Christie service team will be present to inform about ChristieCare, offering extended warranty coverage, priority shipping of parts, 24/7 access to technical experts and remote monitoring with Cinergy, a cloud platform for remote monitoring and management of Christie and third-party equipment. Cinergy offers exhibitors and service providers advanced tools to monitor real-time system status, manage inventories, automate key delivery (KDM), and make informed decisions from detailed reports. Attendees will also be able to learn about Cinergy's Command Station app, which allows room managers to control booth operations and manage equipment from anywhere in the venue.
